Iconic sleeve on this one with the demonic punk rocker. Love the g-zet tracks, one of the first punk bands to really go all out in their motorhead worship which happens to sit particularly well with me. bass heavy and driving.
Systematic death just played nyc, rhode island, and portland over the weekend. I saw them in New York on Friday and they were all power and speed, just drilling through hits from this comp and their records like they hadn’t been broken up for the past 20 years.
All three ultra essentials of course and thanks to the internet and filesharing I doubt if there is one single selfrespecting music freak who does not own mp3 versions of all these three. Which is cool, because now that everyone knows that these platters are really supergood the battle for ownership of genuine articles can start for real.
On a sidenote I am keeping my thumbs stretched in horror that you will blog about an incredibly rare record that I am bidding on, currently at $5 with postage (2 days left) -though I bet you some douche bag will snagg it for $100…schucks!
